Here are few things you can try to fix Oculus Quest 2 home screen loading issues or unable to load profile :
- Restart the headset
- Restart Oculus app
- Check Oculus Service Status
- Factory Reset the Quest 2
- Contact Oculus Support

Restart The Headset
Just that easy. Restart and see if the problem fixes itself.
Restart Oculus App
If the headset restart didn't do anything. Now it's time to restart the Oculus app.
This maybe a problem caused by recent changes to your account, and your headset might be unable to connect to your account.
Go back into your Oculus app account > Go to settings > Select Oculus Quest 2 (Make sure it's turned on) > Wait until restart has completed
Check Oculus Service Status
It may not be your fault. It could be Oculus' server problem.

Factory Reset the Quest 2
If all attempts have tried. The next thing to try is factory reset.
Factory reset can often solve a whole variety of problems. Be sure to always backup your data before performing the reboot.
Alternatively, you can also perform a Factory Reset from the Oculus App. Simply follow the steps below:
- Go into the Oculus App
- Go to settings
- Select your Quest 2 headset
- Hit More Settings
- Select Factory Reset
- Confirm
